This is the official website for Sheffield Print Fair. We organise fairs especially for printmakers and for those wanting to come and buy prints in Sheffield! All updates on events will be posted here for upcoming events.

Thank you very much!

Yes, we'd like to say a great big thanks you to all the people who made 'Sheffield Print Fair 2017' our best and busiest event so far!

We couldn't do it without the wonderful artists who took part (and demonstrate), the sponsors (Folksy, Hawthorn Press and Sheffield City Of Makers), the venue and super-friendly team at St Mary's, and OF COURSE the people who came along to peruse, chat to the printmakers and buy their work.

We had a record number of people through the doors, and raised more money than ever for St Mary's charity for homeless and vulnerable people in Sheffield. The print raffle went very well, with over 700 tickets bought, and most of the winners have now collected their prizes from St Mary's. Also, Zena Parker won the printmakers' printmaker prize, voted by all the printmakers present, and won a generous voucher from Hawthorns.

Thanks to photographer Dan Cook who documented the day so well. You can see all of his shots of the day at our facebook photo album and his website at https://danscape.co/

One final thing. We'd like to say a fond farewell to Jane Elliot, co-founder of SPF who is stepping down this year to concentrate on other things (including making some prints of her own!). We'll miss you, Jane!

Put Saturday 10th November 2018 in your diary for Sheffield Print Fair 2018!

Sheffield Print Fair 2017 - Call For Artists!

We are proud to launch the 5th annual 'Sheffield Print Fair', which will take place on Saturday 11th November 2017, at St Mary's Church & Community Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield.

The event will run from 10am until 4pm, and will feature printmaker stalls as well as print demonstrations and kids print workshops throughout the day. This year, we will also be introducing a print raffle too! The event is a fundraiser for St Mary's and their projects helping homeless people and refugees.

We are being supported by Folksy, as well a new partners in Sheffield City of Makers, an organisation which promotes creative practices in the city, and Hawthorn Printmaker Supplies, who will be at the fair with their presses and other printmaking goodies.

We are offering 44 stalls at the event for artists/printmakers. We are now looking for applicants for the event, printmakers from Sheffield and beyond; woodcut, mezzotint, linocut, screen-print, wood-engravings, digital prints, monoprints and more! We are also for people who are interested in doing a demonstration of their print technique (to whom we will offer a free table).

*Please note - We can't accept prints that are simply reproductions/scans of artworks created in other media.

The application deadline is 3rd September 2017, and we will inform all applicants of the result by 10th September 2017.

Stalls are £55 each (a 6ftx2ft table), or £27.50 for a half-table. There is space behind each table for a display board if you wanted to bring one, and some room by the side for small print browsers.
